Pros Arts Studio is dedicated to enriching individual and community life through the arts with a particular focus on children in the Pilsen neighborhood. Pros Arts Studio is in residence at Dvorak Park, 1119 W. Cullerton, through the Chicago Park District’s Arts Partners in Residence Program. Each year Pros Arts partners with 20 community centers and schools to provide a wide range of multi-arts programming.

Pros Arts Studio...

• Is a multi-arts, multi-lingual, non-profit organization founded in 1978 by neighborhood artists in Pilsen
• Offers free after school programs for children, teens, and families in visual arts (drawing, painting, clay, comix, graf art, murals, etc.), performing arts (drama, circus arts, and breakdancing), and media arts (video, digital art and web design)
• Offers paid teen internships and apprenticeships in the arts
• Conducts in-school programs integrating the arts with curriculum
• Presents annual community cultural programs for Dia de los Muertos/Day of the Dead (October/November), Carnaval (Feb/March), and Dia del Nino/Day of the Child (April)
• Has a professional bilingual Performance Ensemble presenting: Payasos/Clown Ensemble, Latin American Folktales, Readers Theater and Commedia dell’ Arte.
• Produces a live, interactive children's television series on CAN TV Channel 21 (Chicago Cable Access Network).
